Intramural Basketball 2024-2025

The registration deadline for all programs is Tuesday, November 12th.

DAYS AND TIMES OF PRACTICES AND GAMES ARE DEPENDENT ON REGISTRATION NUMBERS. 

This Winter the Conway Parks and Recreation Department will be offering Intro Basketball (Grades 2-3) and Intramural Basketball (4-6). 

Co-ed 2nd-3rd Grade Basketball
Our grade 2-3, Co-ed Basketball program will be back by popular demand. Like last year, this program will introduce the idea of gameplay and team play with a very loose application of the rules. This is an introductory program that wants to see the kids shoot and pass without being overwhelmed by strict rule enforcement. This program will begin on Monday, December 2nd, and run until Monday, January 27th.  
The cost of this program is $22.00.
The deadline to register is Tuesday, November 12th.

4th - 6th Grade Basketball
We will also offer girls' and boys' teams. The rules at this level will be more strictly enforced to replicate a true basketball experience.
 The teams in this program will practice on Wednesdays and/or Fridays beginning on Wednesday, November 13th, and continuing until December 20th. Practices will run before Christmas, and games will be played after Christmas. The cost of this program is $22.00 and includes a team shirt.
The deadline to register is Tuesday, November 12th. If your child is in 6th grade and has a practice at 3:30 p.m., they can come to Conway Parks and Rec after school until practice starts. We will pick up 4th and 5th Graders at Mountainside after school for the 3:30 pm practices. On Wednesdays, we will be picking up the girls. On Fridays, we will be picking up the boys. If their practice is at 4:30 pm, we ask that you bring them to Conway Parks and Rec at that time. Practices will run for one hour either at 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. Please check the schedule below for the times.
