FIELD HOCKEY The Conway Recreation Department will be offering Field Hockey for girls in grades 3rd-6th. All participants must be registered by Tuesday, September 2nd. We will have a 3rd-4th-grade team and a 5th-6th-grade team!Field Hockey will be held on Mondays and either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons beginning September 8th. We will be playing pick-up soccer after school once a week on Tuesdays. Depending on registration numbers, we will have two different games going (3rd-4th grades and 5th-6th grades).  All participants must be registered by Tuesday, September 2nd. As said above, this program will take place on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm. The start date is Tuesday, September 9th, and will run until Tuesday, October 14th. Participants need to have soccer shin pads, and cleats are recommended. The cost of the program is $15, which includes a team t-shirt. Information will be sent via e-mail the week before programs start.

CROSS COUNTRY RUNNINGThe program will utilize the trail system next to the Swift River across the railroad tracks on the campus of Kennett Middle School. Cross Country Running will take place on Wednesdays after school from 3:30-4:30 pm, and is open to children in grades 3rd-6th for the cost of $15. Participants only need sneakers and a water bottle to participate.The program will begin on September 10th and will end on October 1st. Guidelines, schedules, and additional program information will be sent via e-mail the week before programs start.

Appropriate Language and Behavior – Profanity, inappropriate gestures, or offensive language is not acceptable. Respect the Facility – Keep the Teen Center clean and take care of all property, equipment, and furniture. No Outside Visitors – Only registered participants are allowed. Do not invite or bring in unregistered guests. No Unauthorized Leaving – Once checked in, participants must remain at the center until their scheduled departure time unless authorized by a parent/guardian. Technology Use – Use of personal devices (phones, tablets, etc.) are PROHIBITED. If given permission, use should be respectful and not disruptive. No inappropriate content or cyberbullying is allowed. If a phone is found, staff will ask them to put their phone in the bucket. If caught a second time, a teen will be sent home. Dress Code – Wear appropriate attire. Clothing with offensive language or images is not allowed. By registering for the Teen Center Program, you agree to abide by the Teen Center Core Values and Rules Stated Above.

We provide transportation from Pine Tree Elementary to Conway Rec after school.

No Unauthorized Leaving – Once checked in, participants must remain at the center until their scheduled departure time unless authorized by a parent/guardian. Technology Use – Use of personal devices (phones, tablets, etc.) are PROHIBITED. If given permission, use should be respectful and not disruptive. No inappropriate content or cyberbullying is allowed. If a phone is found, staff will ask them to put their phone in the bucket. If caught a second time, a teen will be sent home. Dress Code – Wear appropriate attire. Clothing with offensive language or images is not allowed. By registering for the Teen Center Program, you agree to abide by the Teen Center Core Values and Rules Stated Above.  
 
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM    Field Hockey (3rd - 6th) - 5th - 6th Grade Field Hockey
FIELD HOCKEY The Conway Recreation Department will be offering Field Hockey for girls in grades 3rd-6th. All participants must be registered by Tuesday, September 2nd. We will have a 3rd-4th-grade team and a 5th-6th-grade team!Field Hockey will be held on Mondays and either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons beginning September 8th. Practices will be from 3:30-4:30 pm. The schedule will be released before the season starts and is subject to change, including practices and games. Hard copies will be handed out on the first day of practice. Guidelines and additional program information will be sent via e-mail the week before programs start. Participants need field hockey goggles, a stick, and shin pads. If you have trouble purchasing these items, please reach out to our office. The cost of the program is $22, which includes a t-shirt.
